Kyiv's attempt to organize the seizure of Crimea will receive a harsh rebuff, said the head of the Parliament of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov.
Politics quotes RIA Novosti. According to him, Ukrainian troops “will never set foot on Crimean land.”
At the same time, Konstantinov added: “Let them continue to fill the airwaves with all sorts of statements, crackling and empty like a drum.”
Chapter of the Crimean Parliament believes that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin only if Kiev «will have a command from across the ocean.»
The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Crimea was announced earlier by President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to him, the Ukrainian military will push back the Russian troops and return the peninsula under the control of Kyiv. Zelensky noted that the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will largely depend on the supply of Western weapons.
