MOSCOW, May 1st. Crocus City Hall hosted the final of the fourth season of the musical show «Mask», where the names of the winners were announced. They were singers Dima Bilan (Mammoth) and Sergey Lazarev (Scorpio).
This year, for the first time, two participants shared the first place. This decision was made at the last moment by the chairman of the jury, Philip Kirkorov, when the votes among the rest of the judges were divided equally.
«
"Please give me such a gift in honor of my birthday (the artist celebrated his 56th birthday on April 30. — Approx. ed.). I want to split my vote equally between the two finalists. I promise this is the last time,» Kirkorov asked.
The organizers of the show approved the proposal of the People's Artist of Russia. The audience also did not become indignant and supported the result of the final with applause and shouts of «Bravo!». Lazarev and Bilan were delighted with the victory.

"It was so interesting to confuse you. Until the last moment, I didn’t want to get out of the character so that you would think: “Who is in the suit: a woman or a man (disputes about the gender of the participant between the judges were until the very end. — Approx. ed.)?”. I thought it would be enough for two or three issues. But you were so taken with this intrigue that I continued,” Sergey Lazarev admitted.
The second winner Dima Bilan, who, a few moments before the exposure, almost lost consciousness due to the heavy and hot suit, thought that he would leave the project in the first issues.

“In almost every program, the judges said:“ This is Dima Bilan, ”the musician recalled. — I used processing to a minimum, because I really wanted to keep that warm note that touched someone today. Friends, I am very grateful.
The Poodle (Lada Dance) and Mandrill (Elchin Azizov) also took part in the final of the «Mask» and took the third and fourth places, respectively.

Before that, producer Yana Rudkovskaya (Little Fox), figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva (Shawarma), as well as singers Vadim Kazachenko (Porcupine), Jasmine (Queen of Spades), Victoria Daineko (Phoenix), Vanya Dmitrienko (Raven), Shena (Skunk), Ermine (Diana Ankudinova), Hamster (Anita Tsoi), Mummy (Yaroslav Sumishevsky) and Little Mouse (Natasha Koroleva).
The fourth season was judged by: Philip Kirkorov, singer Valeria, showman Timur Rodriguez, TV presenter and blogger Regina Todorenko, and musician Alexei Vorobyov. The host of the show was Vyacheslav Makarov.
