UFA, May 2. A furniture shopping center with an area of 360 square meters is on fire in the Bashkir city of Belebey, according to preliminary data, there are no casualties, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region reported.
A fire occurs in a two-story building of a furniture store on Malo Lugovaya Street in the city of Belebey, the department informs.
“Preliminarily, there are no casualties. The cause of the fire is to be determined by the investigator of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. Currently, the fire is localized on an area of 360 square meters,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Bashkiria said.
According to the regional police, one of the first to arrive at the scene was senior district police officer Konstantin Korolkov, who serves this administrative district. A traffic police crew is also on site.
«At the time of the fire, there were two sellers in the store, there were no buyers in the shopping center. As a result of the fire, property damage was caused, estimated by the owner at several million rubles,» the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region added .
