Tinder Match Group announced in its annual report that it will leave Russia completely by June 30, 2023.
“We strive to protect human rights. Our brands are taking steps to limit access to their services in Russia, they will completely leave the Russian market by June 30, 2023,” the report says.
Tinder Match Group includes several dating apps — Tinder, Hinge and PlentyOfFish. Tinder, which is very popular in Russia, has disabled its paid options for Russians since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Soon, users began to complain about problems with registration, as well as unreasonable blocking of accounts, the disappearance of correspondence and the inability to form a couple.
