The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against actor Alexei Panin because of statements about the explosion of the Crimean bridge. TASS and RIA Novosti write about this, citing a law enforcement source.
The case against Panin was initiated under the article on justifying terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). The interlocutor of TASS said that the reason was the statements in which the actor positively commented on the blowing up of the Crimean bridge.
The Mash Telegram channel said that the security forces came to the apartment where Panin had previously lived with a search. At the same time, the actor himself does not live in Russia, he previously sold this apartment.
According to Mash, the case was opened because of Panin's «joyful post» about the explosion on the Crimean bridge, published in October in his telegram channel . On October 8, Panin wrote in his social networks that he could not «hide his joy at the fact that, on Putin's birthday, Ukraine fucked up the Crimean bridge.»
The explosion on the Crimean bridge occurred on October 8. Emergency services said four people had died. After a strong fire, the automobile part of the bridge partially collapsed into the water. According to the FSB and the Investigative Committee, the explosion of a truck on the bridge was organized by employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and the explosive device, hidden in rolls with plastic wrap, was transported from Odessa through Bulgaria, Armenia and Georgia, replacing documents.
