
WASHINGTON, May 7 The number of people injured in a car collision with a group of people in the US city of Brownsville, Texas, has increased to 12 -ty, the city's fire department said, confirming the data on seven dead.
«Seven people died on the spot and 11 were transported to local hospitals. One person was airlifted to (hospital — ed.) Valley Baptist Harlingen,» the fire department said in a Facebook post*.
Also noted that traffic in the area of the accident remains closed.
According to CNN, the driver crashed into a group of people who were near the shelter for migrants, some of the dead are also foreigners. The perpetrator of the incident is in custody.
