IRKUTSK, May 6. Governor of the Irkutsk region Igor Kobzev signed a decree banning the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the region, the press service of the government of the Angara region reports.
«From May 7, 2023, a ban on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, including quadrocopters, is introduced in the Irkutsk region. The corresponding decree was signed by the governor of the region, Igor Kobzev,» the report says.
It is noted that the exception is the use of unmanned aerial vehicles by state authorities and local governments, as well as enterprises fulfilling the state defense order.
