The GLC Coupe model appeared in the German company's model range in 2016, a year after the premiere of the regular GLC crossover, which, in turn, is the successor to the GLK. Today, the conveyor is already the second generation of the coupe-shaped SUV, which was demonstrated in mid-March. As in the case of its predecessor, the new crossover will receive the most powerful modification of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe, and prototypes are already being tested, periodically falling into the lens of photo spies.

The car will be made in the style of other AMG-new products of the German brand. One of the most striking features of the cross-coupe will be a radiator grille with vertical crossbars, which in recent years has been received by all models of the company in the most powerful versions. There will be a new bumper with larger air intakes, new thresholds, a nameplate with the name of the model can be placed on the wing. At the rear, the main difference from less powerful versions is the four angular exhaust pipes, and a spoiler may also appear on the trunk lid. Significant changes will take place under the hood of the crossover: the turbocharged V8 4.0 will be replaced by a 2.0 turbo four, the same replacement took place in the presented last fall C 63 new generation. To compensate for the two-fold decrease in the number of cylinders, a hybrid system with an electric motor is called upon, the total return of which can be 671 hp. and 1020 Nm of torque. For comparison, the characteristics of the previous generation model: 510 hp. and 700 Nm of torque.
