The Austrian regulator positively assessed Raiffeisen's plans to cease operations in the Russian Federation.
The work of a financial institution does not pose an «existential threat» to Helmut Ettl, member of the Board of Directors of the Austrian Financial Markets Authority, said on the ORF TV channel: «The RBI may have to go through a painful process, but it will survive.»
