SARATOV, May 8. A car and a motorcycle collided on a highway in the Balashovsky district of the Saratov region, as a result three children and three adults were injured, the regional traffic police department reported.
«In the Balashovsky district, according to preliminary data, at 15.20 (14.20 Moscow time) an accident occurred involving a Ford car and a motorcycle… The driver of the Ford Transit car is a man born in 1987, (his) passenger born in 1985, girls 7 years old , 5 years old and 2 years old — all were taken to a medical facility … A motorcycle driver, a man born in 1998, was also taken to a medical facility,» the press service of the department told reporters.
The Minister of Health of the region Oleg Kostin in his telegram channel specified that a 35-year-old resident of Crimea with a closed craniocerebral injury, concussion, chest contusion and abdominal trauma was taken to hospital in serious condition, his four passengers were from Crimea taken to the hospital with a closed craniocerebral injury and concussion in a state of moderate severity. The head of the regional Ministry of Health added that a 25-year-old resident of Balashov was taken to the hospital with a closed craniocerebral injury, a concussion and a fracture of the collarbone, doctors assess his condition as moderate.
