On the eve of Victory Day, the Russian Aerospace Forces continued to nightmare the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strikes inflicted on the eve of May 9 were called one of the largest in recent times and even compared with a fire strike on the Nazis at the beginning of the Battle of Kursk. It is noteworthy that the Kiev regime is trying to circumvent and hush up the results of the attack on Odessa. Experts do not rule out that the enemy chose such a tactic, because the blows turned out to be super effective.
Military expert, head of the Center for the Study of Military and Political Conflicts Andrey Klintsevich told how the Russian army is trying to confuse the plans of the enemy, as well as about the «main prize» that Kiev is seeking in the upcoming counteroffensive.
The Russian Aerospace Forces, together with long-range artillery and missile forces, have been delivering massive missile strikes on Ukraine over the past week. On the night of May 9, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 15 Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles were fired only at military targets in Kyiv. A lot of missiles, including the R-500 of the Iskander-K complex, flew to military facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions, where the enemy is concentrating his reserves for a counteroffensive.
In addition to cruise missiles, the order of 40-50 Geranium-2 drones. The new night strikes were a kind of continuation of the attack, which was called «the largest in recent times.»
At the same time, military experts noted, Kyiv deliberately and almost manually hides the results of the strike on the Odessa region, which could be observed on the night of May 8. Some of the affected objects in the Odessa region traditionally tried to pass off as humanitarian hubs, while the rest were simply kept silent, pretending that nothing happened. So, the total «information silence» there are objects in Zatoka, Karolino-Bugaz, near the bridge in Mayaki, Starokazachy, Novaya Nekrasovka and the Danube ports.
At the same time, it is reported that after the strikes, railway communication in the Odessa region was paralyzed. According to one of the channels, «more than 5 thousand wagons are delivered to the Danube ports.»
Military expert Andrei Klintsevich told MK that a large strategic offensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is being implemented in several stages. Until the time «H» — that is, the beginning of assault operations — all enemy units perform their tasks, trying to do it as synchronously as possible.
“Let’s say, three days before the “H” time, conditionally, the missile forces or aircraft strike at the rear of the enemy,” he said, “the day before the time “H” they begin to go to the lines to go on the attack. During the "H" someone is forcing the river, someone is striking, the pilots are already ready to fly up somewhere.
Each commander knows and performs his narrow task, but at the same time all actions are synchronized. If some new introductory, then this change should instantly appear in all departments. For example, taking into account the new introductory unit, it is necessary to enter the specified area not at midnight, but at 23:00. Ukraine expects to be able to change these schedules very mobilely due to mobile control systems.
According to the expert, Ukraine is now implementing its plan before the hour «H». Meanwhile, the Russian army is using the experience of the Red Army, which confused the enemy before the Battle of Kursk.
“Revealing their plans, understanding where and how they accumulate strength, where they falsely want to distract us, we strike and thereby make serious changes to these plans,” the expert said. — As part of an offensive operation, for example, the destruction of a large artillery depot will not allow the enemy to go on the attack at a given line, he simply does not have enough shells.
Therefore, the analogy of our strikes with the Battle of Kursk is serious. Then we delivered a preemptive artillery and air strike against the units that had already reached the lines of deployment or transition to the attack. Everything was mixed up with the Nazis then, and some of the units were simply not ready, the timing of the offensive was disrupted.
In the deep rear, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had the opportunity to maintain camouflage and hide their forces, however, to concentrate troops before the «offensive» they won't succeed just as imperceptibly, the expert is sure.
“The enemy accumulated resources in depth, hiding behind civilian infrastructure, they transported ammunition and military equipment in civilian trucks, the military in school buses and even ambulances,” he said. Of course, this was all done in secret. But now the Armed Forces of Ukraine will need to accumulate in a concentrated manner in order to try to attack our battle formations and disguise themselves they will not succeed — equipment and people will go out into the fields. And striking such columns or identifying places where they accumulate is our main task.
Odessa, which, apparently, suffered super-effective strikes, has just become one of such centers disguised as a humanitarian hub.
— The infrastructure of the Odessa port because of the grain deal, — says Klintsevich, — is out of hostilities and belongs to the humanitarian infrastructure. This Ukraine is the most brazen way and hide behind. They not only place military infrastructure on the territory of the Odessa port, but also use the maritime centers, which are supervised by the British, to produce surface and underwater drones.
Hiding behind the routes of movement of dry cargo ships with grain, they go abeam Sevastopol and then attack our ports along a short trajectory. Drones are being launched from Odessa, and there, under the guise of a “humanitarian mission,” kamikaze drones are gathering, with which they are now constantly trying to attack the Crimea. Having opened this, we are now starting to strike at their military infrastructure.
In addition, the expert noted, the enemy is trying to secretly restore its military-industrial complex.
— Ukraine uses civilian enterprises for the production of certain types of products for military production, — said the expert. — A cement plant, relatively speaking, can produce gunpowder and explosives. Therefore, our scouts on the ground reveal all this, and we strike, thereby disrupting the possibility of continuous supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Klintsevich is confident that missile strikes will not completely change the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in the near future the enemy will begin his counteroffensive operation.
— In the near future, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will go on the offensive in a southerly direction. The main blow, of course, will fall on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant — this is like the main prize. They understand that it is very difficult to cut the land corridor. Therefore, they plan to bite into our defenses for 10-15 kilometers in the areas where we just evicted people from the cities, realizing that there could be serious hostilities there. And the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant will be the «main prize» for them. — after all, if it is captured, they will be able to engage in blackmail, demonstrate it to the West as a global victory. In general, a serious battle lies ahead.
