
VLADIVOSTOK, May 9. A warehouse is on fire in Ussuriysk, Primorsky Krai, on an area of about two thousand square meters, there are no dead or injured, the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
According to the rescuers, the message about the fire in the warehouse building on Tolstoy Street in Ussuriysk was received at 15.14 (8.14 Moscow time), firefighters worked on the spot seven minutes later.
«At the time firefighters arrived, the warehouse was on fire from the inside. According to preliminary data, the fire area is about 2,000 square meters, there were no dead or injured,» the report says.
It is noted that 40 people and 12 pieces of equipment are extinguishing the fire.
As the representative of the Primorsky Territory Prosecutor's Office specified, the fire occurred «on the territory adjacent to the Chinese market» along Lev Tolstoy Street 17 «a» in Ussuriysk. «Ussuriysk city prosecutor Dmitry Denish left for the scene of the fire, an ambulance on duty is on site, extinguishing continues,» a representative of the regional supervisory authority said.
