MOSCOW, May 10. By the end of 2023, Rostelecom plans to commission over 6,000 server racks, which is 4.6 times more than a year earlier, follows from the commentary of the company's vice president for information technology, Kirill Menshov, and an explanation from the press service.
“This year we put into operation more than 3,000 racks in the data center, and we plan to commission more than 6,000 new racks by the end of the year,” Menshov said.
«Currently, Rostelecom has more than 1,500 free racks to accommodate equipment across the country,» he added.
The company's press service noted that last year the company put into operation 1,300 racks. «Servers are produced by Yadro, Aquarius and other companies. But the largest are Aquarius and Yadro,» Menshov said.
