In the Perm Territory, a local resident found an improvised explosive device planted in a log in her garden. This is reported by the SHOT telegram channel.
According to the channel, a recess was made in a log 75 cm long and 10 cm high, a paper cylinder and granules with a diameter of 1.5 mm were placed there. The examination showed that it was an explosive with a total weight of 45 g with smokeless powder.
The IED could have been triggered by heating if a woman had thrown a log into the stove.
A criminal case has been initiated into the incident. It turns out how the IED appeared in the woman's vegetable garden. She is known to be a teacher.
