
PARIS, May 6. French writer Philippe Sollers has died at the age of 86, according to the BFMTV television channel, citing the publishing house.
“According to the Gallimard publishing house, the writer Philip Sollers has died. He was 86 years old,” the channel reports.
Sollers (real name Philippe Joyeaux) is the author of two dozen novels, as well as numerous essays, biographies and articles of literary criticism.
