Yelizarov passed away at the age of 80. According to preliminary data, the death was due to cardiovascular insufficiency.
It is known that Elizarov did not contact his relatives and did not open the door to his apartment, and on May 8 they called the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the police. When the door was opened, it turned out that the artist was dead.
Yelizarov lived on Serpukhov Val in the Danilovsky district of the capital.
Yelizarov was born in Leningrad. He became famous not only as an actor, but also as a director and mime. His pantomimes were successful in 55 countries around the world. Elizarov was remembered by a wide audience for such films as «Completely Lost», «Aibolit-66», «Crew». The title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Anatoly Elizarov was awarded in 1995.
