
ROSTOV-ON-DON, May 10. Investigators in the Rostov region opened a criminal case against a 64-year-old man from the village of Kirovskaya, accused of killing his 80-year-old brother in state of alcoholic intoxication, according to the SUSK RF for the region.
«A criminal case has been initiated against a 64-year-old man. He is accused of committing a crime under part 4 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation («Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, negligently resulting in the death of the victim»)», — the published release says .
According to the investigation, on May 5, 2023, the accused was in his house in the village of Kirovskaya, Kagalnitsky district. The man was in a state of alcoholic intoxication and, during a conflict with his 80-year-old brother, stabbed him multiple times in the chest and neck.
According to investigators, the conflict between the brothers arose «on the basis of personal hostile relations.» The victim was taken to a hospital, but doctors were unable to save him.
«During the interrogation, the man fully admitted his guilt in the crime he was accused of. At present, at the request of the investigator, the court has chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention against the accused,» the regional SUSK clarified.
