MOSCOW, May 11. Actress Jacklyn Ziemen has died at the age of 70, writes Deadline.
She is known for the soap opera «General Hospital». The artist joined the project in 1977 and played in more than 800 episodes.
«Like her character, the legendary Bobbie Spencer, she was a beacon of light, a true professional and gave so much positive energy through her work,» executive producer Frank Valentini of the show wrote on his social media page.
< br />Jacklyn has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy five times: four for General Hospital and one for her portrayal of Sophia Madison on The Cove.
As a child, Zeman studied ballet. But she decided to devote her life to acting. She can also be seen in the projects One Life to Live, Detective Mike Hammer, Sledgehammer and others.
She left two daughters.
