St. Petersburg, May 11. Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin said that scammers have crept into the ranks of bloggers, including evading taxes, his department began to master this new topic.
«It's not about bloggers, they have a right to exist, it's about scammers who use a new form of communication and simply deceive. Secondly, they don't pay taxes yet… For us, this is a new topic, we are mastering it,» — said Bastrykin, answering a question during a session on national security at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
Recently, several popular bloggers have become defendants in criminal cases of tax evasion, among them the founder of the Marathon of Desires project Elena Blinovskaya, Valeria Chekalina (Lerchek) and Alexandra Mitroshina.
