MOSCOW, May 11. The premiere of the documentary film «The Sound of My Region» took place on the Web, the press service of the project reports.
Its author and director is Yuri Bardash, founder and ex-producer of Quest Pistols, «Mushrooms», «Nerves». In the summer of 2022, it became known that he had moved to Russia. Bardash's tape tells about artists from Donbass. The heroes of the picture are Alina Kalaitan, Theme Maisky and Dima Om.

«The film crew of the Sound of My Region project visited three cities that were damaged during the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Luhansk, Donetsk, Alchevsk — there she met with novice musicians, their families and local residents,» the press release says.
In his native Alchevsk, Bardash visited the House of Culture — he studied here when he was a child. In the DC, the producer met with the current students of the institution and with his first folk dance teacher.

"This place left a lasting impression on me, and I would like you to continue believing in what you are doing. You are going through a very difficult time. But life goes on, and it needs to be lived creatively,” he addressed the local guys.
