MOSCOW, May 11th. Russian Kh-22 cruise missiles, which delivered a powerful strike on Kiev, are invulnerable to Ukrainian air defense, writes the American Military Watch Magazine.
According to the publication, Ukrainian officials complain that missiles designed to bypass the the air defense systems surrounding US aircraft carrier groups are virtually uninterceptable.
“Their large 950-kilogram warheads cause massive damage,” the article says.
This type of projectile plays a key role in hitting strategic targets in Ukraine, clarified the authors of the publication.
The Russian army has been regularly attacking objects of the defense industry, military administration, communications and energy in Kiev since October 10. As Vladimir Putin pointed out, this is a response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge and other attacks on civilian infrastructure.
