BERLIN, May 14 German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier met at his Bellevue residence with Vladimir Zelensky, who arrived in the German capital on Sunday.
Live broadcast from the meeting on Sunday morning was conducted by German TV channels.
Further Zelensky will be received with military honors in the office of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Later, he will most likely go to Aachen, where he will be awarded the international Charlemagne Prize, a number of German media wrote.
Zelensky left for Berlin on Sunday night, his flight, which started from Rome, was escorted by two German fighter jets, according to the German Air Force on Twitter.
