In the city of Klintsy, Bryansk region, a Mi-8 helicopter crashed; eyewitness video shows an explosion, after which the aircraft crashes. This is reported by TASS and Kommersant with links to sources in emergency services. The recording of the fall was published by the telegram channel “Overheard Klintsy”.
One of the eyewitnesses of the explosion was a child. He filmed a helicopter flying in the sky, then the ship disappeared from the frame, hiding behind the roof of the house. At that moment, the author of the video was trying to find the helicopter again, but there was an explosion. Other recordings show a burning falling helicopter and smoke at the crash site.
The TASS interlocutor suggests that a fire in the engine became the cause of the accident. According to Baza, the helicopter circled over the city for a long time, and then crashed in the private sector.
As the head of the city administration Sergey Yevteev clarified in a conversation with TASS, there was no damage on the ground from the helicopter crash. At the same time, Baza claims that a 51-year-old woman was injured due to the crash. In addition, two people on board were killed, the TASS source added.
