SARATOV, May 13. Deputy Prime Minister — Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov said that he supports the expansion of capacities «356- Aircraft Repair Plant of the Russian Helicopters holding in the city of Engels, Saratov Region.
“Today we also visited an aircraft repair plant, where colleagues raised the issue of expanding capacities, building new buildings. I supported this. I think that this is especially urgent today. This year, the volume of work performed is planned to be twice as much as in 2022 «I think that this pace will continue in the future, bearing in mind, among other things, new modifications of helicopters that will undergo major repairs there. We found a solution on how to ensure the fulfillment of the requests set by the enterprise and the Russian Helicopters holding,» said Manturov journalists in Saratov during a visit to the site of the Industrial Automation Design Bureau.
According to the vice-premier, almost all the equipment of the plant is domestic.
«This is a modern enterprise with the necessary infrastructure, production facilities, information support and highly qualified specialists with a certified quality management system. I would especially like to emphasize that the share of Russian equipment used in production is 99%,» the press service of the Russian government quoted Manturov as saying.
It is specified that the 356th Aviation Repair Plant carries out repairs and upgrades of helicopters and their components.
