MOSCOW, May 12. Russia's task is to return the world order to the principles of equality, preventing domination of some countries over others, said Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
«Our task today is to return international relations to their original meaning, to the principles of equality and cooperation, and not dictate and domination,» said Medvedev, speaking at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
He added that an important task is, first of all, to force respect for the «spirit and letter» of the law, including the spirit and letter of the United Nations Charter and «the fundamental principles of international law arising from it» .
