The President of Ukraine imposed sanctions against 37 people and 212 enterprises associated with Russian industry

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions against 212 enterprises and 37 individuals from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, Cyprus and several other countries. All of them, as Zelensky said in his video message, are connected with Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The restrictions included, in particular, 13 people and 28 companies, with the help of which, according to the Ukrainian president, Russia retained control over the Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant. Their assets will be confiscated and they «will work for Ukraine and Ukrainians.»

A number of Russian and Belarusian industrial and defense enterprises were also included in the sanctions list: the Samara Aviation Plant, the Orsha Machine-Tool Plant, the Masherov Minsk Plant of Automatic Lines and others.

In January, Ukraine imposed sanctions against 182 companies from Russia and Belarus, and 198 Russian and Belarusian citizens.
