Former Khimki and Dynamo football player, graduate of “Spartak” Alexander Karakin died after an accident in the suburbs. Sport quickly talks about the tragic departure of a 32-year-old athlete.
What is known about the traffic accident on Friday night, the footballer was driving a Nissan GTR at the moment when the car crashed into a bump stop on the highway in Odintsovo near Moscow. Karakin simply lost control — the victim was urgently hospitalized, but the doctors failed to save him.
Official statement from the Odintsovo city prosecutor's office: died from the received bodily injuries".
It is important to note that Tatyana Petrova, head of the press service of the Moscow Region Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, indicates that the deceased was born in 1991. Neither the prosecutor's office nor the ministry named the driver. At the same time, a law enforcement source confirms that the life of a Russian football player was cut short in an accident in the Moscow region.
According to a number of Telegram channels, the incident on the Minsk highway occurred during a street race in which Karakin took part. Indeed, on this section of the route, which is not the most crowded at night, members of the «Club 500» often put pressure on the gas (it includes street racers whose cars have engines with a capacity of more than 500 horsepower). At the same time, other sources note that there were no extreme pursuits the day before, and the accident occurred for the reason already mentioned (he lost control).
Dangerous hobby one of the most popular street racing tracks. These are unofficial, and usually illegal, competitions that take place on public roads and garner thousands of views on social media. Fines and loss of driver's license — these are the worst punishments that shine for racing drivers for playing Schumacher.
Although, perhaps, sanctions may not come from law enforcement agencies, but from fate. After all, the death of participants on such shows is not at all uncommon.
By the way, there were cases when «peaceful» drivers and even pedestrians became victims of entertainment.
