
MOSCOW, May 15. The Council of the State Duma decided to consider a bill on the right of security forces to stop the movement of drones in all areas on Thursday, May 18 , said the head of the Duma committee on information policy Alexander Khinshtein.
In March, a bill was submitted to the State Duma giving law enforcement agencies the right to stop the movement of any drones in their area of responsibility. The initiative was sponsored by Alexander Khinshtein, head of the Duma Committee on Information Policy, Vasily Piskarev, head of the State Duma Committee on Security, and other United Russia deputies.
«The State Duma Council has now made a decision: to consider our draft law on countering drones this Thursday,» he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Earlier, Khinshtein said that the Ministry of Economic Development opposed the bill on the right of security forces to stop the movement of drones in all areas, said the head of the Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein.
