DONETSK, May 14. Ukrainian troops at 16.30 shelled the Kiev region of Donetsk, firing 10 rockets from the MLRS, reported in Telegram- channel representation of the Donetsk People's Republic in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
«Fire was recorded from the AFU (armed formations of Ukraine — ed.) in the direction: 16.30 — the settlement of Tonenkoe — the city of Donetsk (Kiev district): 10 rockets were fired from the MLRS,» the representative office reports.
In addition, according to the representation, Ukrainian troops shelled the Kirovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk from May 16 to October 16, firing a total of 11 shells of 155 mm caliber.
Kyiv district of Donetsk is located in the northern part of the city. Beginning in 2014, when the DPR declared independence from Kiev after a coup d'état there, the area has been regularly shelled by Ukrainian security forces.
Kirovskiy district is located in the southwest of Donetsk, adjacent to Petrovsky district, which is the furthest from the city center.
