Polish volleyball star Malvina Smarzek was destroyed in her homeland for her sympathy for the Russians. The athlete had to undergo treatment for depression, and at some point she was even afraid to leave her house in Poland. Just crazy.
«I fell in love with the Russian people» Smarzek had a successful career in volleyball until last year. After playing in the Polish championship, she went to Italy, from where she later moved to Russia, where one of the best leagues in the world has long been. Malvina signed a contract with Lokomotiv Kaliningrad and was in a great mood. The fans reacted to her with great sympathy, while the polka responded with an excellent game on the floor.
Even the events of February last year did not affect Smarzek's mood to continue her career in Russia, she was so comfortable in our country. Another thing is that at home, people demanded that she criticize Russia's policy and urgently return home. Malvina held on to the last, urged not to look for the guilty among the volleyball players, but still she was forced to leave. And she left such a heartfelt post on social networks.

«It got to the point that I was afraid to leave the house. There were cases when people pushed me or spat on me. I treat depression «I used to have panic attacks that sometimes came back. It all started in Russia, and this was the moment when everything overwhelmed me. Everything accumulated inside me, but the situation was killing me. I felt that there was no point in playing volleyball, taking a shower, eating , go outside. I was so depressed, I didn’t understand what was happening. Later I was diagnosed, and now I am being treated, «said the Polish volleyball player.
After a year of absence, Malvina was nevertheless returned to the national team. She must undergo training for the League of Nations, which begins at the end of May. Only there are no guarantees that the volleyball player who confessed her love for Russia will not be ostracized again, because the madness that has gripped Poland seems to be only beginning to grow.
