MOSCOW, 16 May. The Soviet-Latvian actress Regina Razuma died at the age of 72, the New Riga Theater reported on its website.
«With deep sorrow, we inform you that on Sunday, May 14, the actress of the New Riga Theater died Razuma,” the publication says.
The cause of death is not known.
Regina Razuma was born on September 22, 1951 in Riga. She graduated from the Riga Choreographic School and the acting department of the theater department of the Jazeps Vitols Latvian State Conservatory, and since 1971 she began acting in films. All-Union popularity was brought to her by roles in the films Robin Hood's Arrows, Don't Leave…, The Right to Shoot, Aquanauts.
After the collapse of the USSR, Regina Razuma served in the New Riga Theater and starred in Latvian cinema, in 2002 she played a role in the Russian TV series «Kamenskaya».
