Baza: a man was detained in Moscow for painting asphalt with red crosses on the eve of Victory Day
The Baza Telegram channel reports that a man was detained in Moscow for drawing red crosses on the pavement before the celebration of Victory Day. According to the publication, a criminal case was initiated against the attacker.
It is noted that the red crosses appeared in the center of the Russian capital on the night of May 8-9, and their pictures were distributed on Ukrainian social networks, where the crosses were called “ marks for drones», and the Russian media called the appearance of the crosses a «fake», explaining their appearance by the location of geodetic points used for topographic survey of the area.
According to the Telegram channel, on May 16, law enforcement officers detained a 25-year-old Konstantin Kochanov, who, according to investigators, painted at least three crosses, two of which were near houses on Bolshoy Kozlovsky Lane, and one more on Nizhnyaya Krasnoselskaya Street.
According to investigators, graffiti painted by the detainee “ create a real threat to undermine the security of the state. Baza clarified that at first the police did not initiate a case against the attacker, but then the law enforcement officers reconsidered this issue, and Kochanov became a defendant in a case of hooliganism motivated by political hatred.
