VELIKY NOVGOROD, May 16. More than five hours in the village of Borovenka, Novgorod Region, employees of the GUMCHS of the Russian Federation in the region eliminate a fire with an area of 2.5 thousand square meters at the sawmill, the press service of the department reports.
It is noted that at 12.51 the emergency services received a message about the fire. When the rescuers arrived, they found that the sawmill was on fire from the inside, in addition, production waste was burning on the territory.
«At 16.29 the fire was localized. Extinguishing continues now. The area of the fire is about 2.5 thousand (square — ed.) meters,» the press service of the department said.
