MOSCOW, May 16. State Duma Deputy Georgy Kamnev (KPRF), who was filmed by the media playing chess at a plenary meeting in the State Duma, said that he made only two moves in the game between consideration of issues, distraction for the game helps him concentrate on the next item on the agenda.
“It was between the consideration of issues, since we had already voted for the law, and in this interval, while they were preparing to consider the next law, I literally made two moves,” he said.
According to him, the chess program was the most common, and not American, as they wrote in the media.
“This is all a lie. This is a regular program that can be downloaded and installed. No VPN is needed there,” the deputy added.
The parliamentarian also noted that he does not play other games, but often plays chess after work.
«In this regard, I agree with my colleague (Anatoly) Wasserman, who said that it helps him concentrate on the next issue… If it is not to the detriment of the work process,» the deputy concluded .
