Now the company is starting export deliveries: Qatar has become the first foreign market for the flagship, prices have already been announced there, dealers are taking orders.

In Qatar, the Chery Arrizo 8 also promises a panoramic sunroof, ten airbags, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and marking tracking systems.

In the Qatari market, the sedan is presented with a non-alternative 1.6 TGDI turbo four, which produces 197 hp. and 290 Nm. The motor is combined with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches, front-wheel drive only. It should be noted that a G8 with a 254-horsepower 2.0 turbo engine (390 Nm) is about to appear in China — it is possible that later a more powerful version will also be exported.
The Chery Arrizo 8 starts at around $25,000 in Qatar. By the way, the Toyota Camry «in the base» there costs only a little more — from $ 25,500. And the Kia K5 sedan is even more affordable than the G8 — from $ 22,800.
