American newspaper The Daily Mail reported that current White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was criticized after she abruptly interrupted a briefing and «ran from the podium.»
Jean-Pierre ran away from the briefing, according to the publication. after a question about the investigation of the «connections» of the former President of the United States of America Donald Trump with Russia in the elections that took place in 2016.
In particular, she was confused by the question of RealClearNews journalist Philip Wegmann, who asked if Joe Biden agreed with conclusion of Special Prosecutor John Durham that neither US intelligence nor law enforcement agencies had any real evidence of Trump collusion with Russia in those elections.
Among other things, the special counsel noted that the US FBI used «crude unconfirmed information» in order to initiate an investigation.
«This is not something I will talk about from the podium. We believe in an independent Ministry of Justice and law enforcement agencies,” Jean-Pierre added and ran away from the podium.
