Russians are invited to reason within the spheres of technology, ecology and entrepreneurship. There is no politics among them, but there is a social sphere.
“If you stop the war, hold fair elections, restore democratic institutions in the country, restore freedom of the media and release political prisoners from prisons, then the outflow of population from small towns will stop, the welfare of citizens will grow and people will give birth more,” Loginova wrote in the field for the idea.
In response, she received a notification about the withdrawal from the public field of the idea “Stop the war with Ukraine” — this is how the journalist titled her application. The reason for this was indicated by the fact that the paragraphs of the proposal «are of an acute political nature and provoke the development of unconstructive discussions.»
Journalist Ilya Shepelin also shared his idea on the Strong Ideas for New Times website. “How about we stop being bullied? Maybe withdraw troops from a foreign country and start a war that has left Russia in economic and technological isolation, experiencing the largest outflow of population in recent history? — the journalist wrote at the beginning of the application. His proposal was also called «hot political» and rejected.
