MOSCOW, May 17. Ukrainian singer Ani Lorak will perform on May 28 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) on the stage of the Palace of Friendship of Peoples after the cancellation of her concerts in a number of Russian cities, according to the online ticketing service iticket.uz.
«
"One of the most sought-after singers of our time — Ani Lorak — goes on a long-awaited concert tour! " — it is said in the telegram channel of the service.
It is also noted that the artist will present the program The Best, where she will perform hits, for example, «Take Paradise» and «Hold My Heart», as well as new compositions.
The cost of tickets for the Lorak concert starts from 250 thousand soums (about 1765 rubles at the current exchange rate) and ends at 2.5 million soums (about 17.6 thousand rubles).
This spring, Russia canceled the Lorak show, which was supposed to be held in Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh.
Later, Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Naumov explained that the cancellation of Ani Lorak's concert in the regional capital was inevitable because of the artist's position regarding the special military operation.
He also noted that there is no guarantee that the money earned will not be used to purchase shells and ammunition for those «who are fighting against our guys.»
Lorak herself stated that she did not provide financial support to the Ukrainian army.
After 2014, the singer did not perform at home and permanently resided in Russia. In August last year, Ani Lorak announced a tour, but there were no Russian cities on it.
In December, she performed the vocal part in Tatiana Navka's ice musical theater show «Scheherazade's Love Story» in Moscow.
