The Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined the Maly Drama Theater (theater of Europe) 15,000 rubles under the article on violation of sanitary and epidemiological standards (part 1 of article 6.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of the city.
Before that, Rospotrebnadzor conducted an inspection, during which it recorded 18 violations. Among them are defects in the interior and technical equipment, the absence of markings on cleaning equipment and instructing personnel on disinfection measures. Also among the violations, the department included the lack of logs for measuring the temperature of employees and timely examinations of employees for tuberculosis.
Today, during a meeting, the representative of Rospotrebnadzor, Tatyana Lanko, specified that the theater staff hid unpeeled vegetables “in the same heap” with products that are forbidden to be near, from the inspectors, betrays the Rotunda. As noted by the department, due to the lack of markings on the buckets, the cleaning lady can confuse the inventory for the floor and the table. The court announced the explanations of the employee about how she distinguishes between buckets and mops.
In addition, representatives of the theater proved that six employees had fluorography. «Rotonda» writes that only the actor Danila Kozlovsky did not have a picture of the lungs. Previously, all performances with his participation were postponed, and then completely canceled. “Also, I have decided to go on vacation until the end of 2023, due to personal circumstances,” Kozlovsky wrote on his Telegram channel two days ago.
The Theater of Europe was sealed on May 5. Boris Vishnevsky, deputy of the city legislature, then connected the check with political reasons — «everything is as usual when it is necessary to run into unwanted people.» It is known that the artistic director of the MDT, Lev Dodin, addressed a personal letter to Vladimir Putin after the outbreak of the war and published an open anti-war appeal. In addition, Vitaly Borodin, who wrote denunciations on Russian media, declared Kozlovsky to the Prosecutor General's Office.
