Moscow confirms the extension of the Black Sea grain initiative for two months, while calling for the fastest possible correction of distortions in the implementation of the Russia-UN memorandum on export of Russian food and fertilizers, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday.
«We confirm the announcement by the President of Turkey of a two-month extension of the Black Sea Initiative. This provides a chance, not in words, but in deeds, to help ensure global food security.» , Zakharova said at a briefing.
«Our fundamental assessments of the Istanbul agreements of 2022 have not changed, and distortions in implementation should be corrected as quickly as possible,» she said.
