MOSCOW, May 18. Two Il-76 tanker aircraft were sent to the Shchuchansky district of the Kurgan region to extinguish a natural fire on an area of 10 hectares, said the press service of the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
«Two Il-76 planes were sent to the fire site,» the source said.
According to him, over 120 people and 30 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the fire.
