MOSCOW, May 20. The highest — the fifth class of fire danger — is predicted this week in the regions of four federal districts of Russia, warns the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergencies (VNII GOChS).
«An emergency fifth class of fire hazard is predicted in certain areas of the Omsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Samara, Orenburg and Novgorod regions, the republics of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, the southern part of the Urals Federal District and the Krasnoyarsk Territory,» the statement on the website of the VNII GOChS says .
According to the Institute, most hot spots and fires are registered in the south of the Far East, Siberian and Ural federal districts. In these regions, there is a high probability of outbreaks of wildfires over large areas.
