
MOSCOW, May 19 Vladimir Putin dismissed Oleg Syromolotov from his post Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the decree was published on the legal information portal.
“To release Oleg Vladimirovich Syromolotov from the post of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for countering terrorism,” the document says.
Oleg Syromolotov turned 70 today.< br>
He has worked as deputy foreign minister since 2015, having moved to the department from the post of head of the counterintelligence service of the FSB.
In 2007, Syromolotov was awarded the rank of Army General.
He was awarded the Order of Honor (1998) and the Order Honor of the Republic of Belarus (2002).
