WASHINGTON, May 19. The US has imposed export restrictions on more than 1,200 more items to Russia and Belarus, the US Department of Commerce said.
«An additional 1,224 industrial products added to the list will now require a license to export or re-export and transfer within Russia and Belarus,» the agency said in a document added to the federal register.
Added to the list of export controls tools and electrical appliances, building materials, photographic paper and other paper products, paints, fabrics, boats and passenger transport, equipment for the food industry.
Moscow has repeatedly stressed that the country will cope with the sanctions pressure that the West began to provide a few years ago and continues to strengthen.
Russia also said that the United States and its allies do not have the courage to admit the failure of economic restrictions.
