The number of clients receiving a unified child allowance on the cards of a credit institution has reached more than 50 thousand people and more than 200 thousand families, taking into account all children's payments. The press service of the bank calculated that the amount of funds transferred for four months amounted to 13 billion rubles. This is 33% higher than similar figures last year.
“VTB actively supports the government's social initiatives. We are one of the key banks for transferring funds for support programs, and we are also working on our own assistance programs for families with children. In total, VTB has already allocated over 3 billion rubles for these purposes in 2022,” said Svyatoslav Ageev, head of the VTB Public Services department.
According to the bank’s statistics, about 88% of recipients of child benefits are women of the age 25-45 years old. Every third recipient of social benefits lives in the Central Federal District, every fifth in the Volga Federal District, another 15% of families live in Siberia.
“Last year, the bank launched a calculator for calculating payments due to parents for children, which has already been used more than 300 thousand Russians. We are significantly simplifying the process of filling out applications for their receipt on the Gosuslug portal and speeding up the management of maternity capital. Since the beginning of the year, more than 50,000 people have started receiving a single child allowance from the bank,” added Svyatoslav Ageev.
