
ROSTOV-ON-DON, May 20. Rescuers pulled a goat from a well in the village of Krugloye, Azov district in the Rostov region, the Russian Emergencies Ministry Main Directorate for the region reported.
«Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued a goat from a 12-meter well,» the article says.
The desperate owner of the animal turned to the rescuers with a request to help. As it turned out, the goat ran out of the yard and fell into the well.
It took a little more than an hour for the employees of the specialized fire and rescue unit of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to rescue the animal.
To raise the goat to the surface, one of the rescuers had to descend into the well with the help of climbing equipment. As a result of the «rescue operation», the frightened but unharmed goat was safely handed over to the owner.
