MOSCOW, May 18. Actor and director Rustam Urazaev died at the age of 66 after a long illness, Channel Five reported.
Po media reports, he had stage III cancer. Urazaev was undergoing treatment in a Moscow hospital.
He was born on January 21, 1958. He graduated from the Art College and the Faculty of History of the Tashkent State University, was a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia. Urazaev began his acting career in 1974. Throughout his life, he has played more than 50 roles in theater and cinema, starred in such series as «The Witch Doctor» and «Capercaillie», where he also acted as a director.
