Citing their own informants, several sources reported at once that the commander-in-chief was in a serious condition at the National Military Medical Clinical Center in Kiev.
According to the military correspondent Rudenko, as well as the telegram channel «Joker DPR», the commander-in-chief was seriously injured on May 8. On this day, Zaluzhny was at one of the command posts of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnepropetrovsk region, where he checked the readiness of formations and units for a counteroffensive. “In the course of a missile attack on military infrastructure facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk region, this command post was hit by a precise hit by a Russian cruise missile. As a result, a large number of high-ranking Ukrainian military personnel were killed and wounded, including General Zaluzhny,” correspondents say. Secondly, on May 10, Zalugny's wife, Elena, was seen at this center, who was brought to the hospital «from the rear.» And she stayed there for 4 hours. And, finally, the most important thing is the “cover operation” that was launched in the media and blogs controlled by the presidential office. First, a photo of Zaluzhny at the wedding was leaked there, as it turned out, a long-standing one. Then some kind of slurred interview with Zaluzhny appeared — and again quite old. And finally — his photo at sea. It seems that it is easier for Zelensky’s supporters to portray the commander-in-chief as a varmint playing the role of a “wedding general”, or even a “traitor to the Motherland”, who basks on the Cypriot shores during the fall of Bakhmut, than to admit that he was actually wounded in combat. They say that these clumsy stuffing is done on the recommendation of British curators, who do not recommend spreading about Zaluzhny's serious condition. Indeed, the loss of the commander-in-chief on the eve of an important «counterattack» is not the most uplifting news for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
