Avito is testing the «Cargo» tariff from Yandex Delivery in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Now, right in the app or on the Avito website, you can order furniture and household appliances weighing up to 60 kg with door-to-door delivery within a day. In this case, payment will be processed with a freezing of funds through the «Safe transaction», and the goods can be refused free of charge, as with any other delivery method via Avito.
Yandex Delivery has been cooperating with Avito since 2020. Using the service, you can order the delivery of purchases within one city in all cities of Russia where Yandex Go is present. At the same time, for Avito Delivery until May 2023, the maximum weight of a parcel was limited to 20 kg, both in this courier delivery method and when delivered to pick-up points of partner services. The exception was DBS — Delivery by the seller to Avito, but it is mainly used by sellers with already concluded direct contracts with logistics/courier services.
Connecting the «Cargo» tariff from Yandex Delivery to Avito Delivery will increase the weight of the parcel up to 60 kg. The maximum amount of product sides can be 300 cm. The maximum order price will be 30,000 rubles at the start with the prospect of increasing the limit to 50,000 rubles. At the time of launch, the service in test mode is available to some users for orders from private sellers in the city limits of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Until the end of this summer, the Freight tariff will become available to all users from these cities.
The «Cargo» tariff is suitable for purchases on Avito of large-sized furniture, household appliances — dishwashers and washing machines, refrigerators and much more. The purchase with delivery of such goods is becoming more and more relevant: at the end of 2022, sales of large household appliances on Avito increased by 15%. Sales of furniture on the platform grew by more than a third, with the most in demand being large-sized goods — upholstered furniture, as well as cabinets and other storage systems.
“Now the number of parcels sent via Avito Delivery daily has reached several hundred thousand. We have been actively growing throughout the past year – in 2022, the number of orders increased by almost 4.5 times year-on-year. Our users constantly sent us wishes to enable the Avito Delivery option, and with it safe buying and selling for bulky goods, especially in the categories of home goods and household appliances. With some popular furniture and electronics brands now only available online, this option is especially in demand. Thanks to our partners from Yandex Delivery, now ordering a large size directly through Avito has become possible. In the future, we will work on the possibility of expanding the option to other cities in Russia,” said Sergey Pustylnik, Logistics Director at Avito.

The delivery time of a truck in the service in Moscow and St. Petersburg in most cases does not exceed 30 minutes. Buyers can track the car, as well as an express delivery order, in the Yandex Go app. You no longer need to independently look for a contractor, plan delivery in advance, negotiate a price and worry about the timing of the delivery of the car. Couriers will deliver goods «from the door to the door», including the upper floors. Couriers have about 15 minutes to unload or load. Packing, assembly, disassembly and installation of furniture in the apartment are not yet provided for by the tariff. Orders will be fulfilled during the day.
The feature of Avito Delivery — the ability to inspect the goods upon receipt and refuse it — remains the same and in the «Cargo» tariff: in this case, the courier will immediately take the goods back to the seller. The buyer does not need to pay for return shipping.
