MOSCOW, May 22 The removal of the 2GIS mapping service application from the Google Play app store is due to Google's compliance with sanctions and trade laws, the company's press service said.
«Google complies with all applicable sanctions and trade compliance laws. If we detect an app that violates our terms of use, we will take appropriate action,» the post reads.
On Saturday, the 2GIS application disappeared from Google Play. According to the 2GIS company, previously installed 2GIS applications on Android continue to work. The company noted that the Android version of 2GIS can be downloaded for free from the 2GIS website and other app stores.
